I have done this many times in my lifetime. I start drinking soda, coffee, tea and anything else that has caffeine in it, and then when I want to stop I get the WORST headache of my entire life. I know that I should not quit cold turkey but I have trouble "weening" myself off of anything. I have been brewing green tea in the mornings usually which has a much lower caffeine count that coffee and regular black tea, but this morning I got off to a slow start (I hate those mornings!)
I was set to wake up at 7:30, but the alarm went off and I did NOT get up! So the next time my pair of eyes opened was at 9. I had a meeting at 10:30 and with my new sense of "I WANT TO WORKOUT ALL THE TIME" mentality, I got up, got a quick 10 minute total body workout, showered, barely ate anything and went on with my morning. Hense the missing of my morning caffeine and the worst headache I have had in a while. Now I am at work, sitting and staring at a computer screen waiting until I can get off work, hopefully get one of my temp jobs back and then go to the gym on campus to get my biking on.
